MY BACKGROUND
As your Clayton County Tax Commissioner, my focus has been and is effecting positive change in our community. I have been actively involved in local politics for over ten years, and I am passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of our citizens. My professional experience includes working as an Executive Level Leader, both corporately and in the public sector, where I gained valuable experience in Collaborative Management, Strategic Planning, and community engagement. My vision for our community is to educate and empower the Citizens of Clayton. I believe that we can achieve more by working collaboratively and creating policies that support all of our citizens and by investing in and supporting our local economy. ​As your Clayton County Tax Commissioner, I am committed to being a voice for all members of our community. I believe in collaborating with our leaders, both locally and statewide, so we can truly succeed. Together, we can and will create a brighter future for Clayton!

Since I took office, it has been my mission as your Tax Commissioner to Educate & Empower the Citizens of Clayton; thereby being a catalyst for change, progress, and success in our community. I believe that by working together, we can create a more just and equitable community where everyone has the chance to succeed. My approach is to listen to the concerns of our citizens, and build partnerships with community leaders and organizations to move Clayton forward. ​I am committed to being a leader who is accessible and responsive to those I represent. I believe that by working together, we can create a brighter future for Clayton and build a community that we can all be proud of.
